Salon Emporia

I had no appointment, I was a walk-in on a busy Saturday morning, visiting from New York. I was greeted gleefully by Marie the Salon’s owner. I heard about this establishment through Google/Instagram. I got my natural hair washed, blow dried and braided. It was the best deep clean of my hair and scalp’s life. It was done exceptionally well and done so in a timely manner. I have a very sensitive scalp and my experience was, I would label it PLATINUM STANDARD. I was expecting to be overpriced but let me tell you it was affordable and with my flying hair, all the hair is still in place after 2weeks of wear. And that’s a lot for me! I had a lot of time to get my eyebrows done after so I transferred to the barber shop which is located in the same Salon! I met MerryMan, the head barber. I am very nit-picky with how I want my eyebrows to be done and he did his thing! I was very pleased! 10/10 I had to recommend to my friends… and family who were visiting the area in the nearest future. They all have appointments for loc styling, braiding and even relaxer services!
